Wrist

Wrist injuries are particularly common among athletes.

But because we use our wrists so frequently in our everyday lives, an injured wrist can take anyone out of the game.

Understanding the Wrist:

The wrist is a complex joint made up of eight small bones (the carpal bones) and two forearm bones (the radius and the ulna) bridging the hand to the forearm.

Because we use our wrists so frequently, they are prone to injuries, dislocations, and fractures - as well as conditions like tendonitis, arthritis, or carpal tunnel syndrome.
